the cure
to my farmer brother
HO!...to my
brother, the family farmer...before industry...you were the
backbone of our economy...in the late 30’s a machine was
invented that would strip hemp fiber at a reasonable cost...hemp
was declared the new billion dollar crop...it would save the
family farmers...in the late 30’s hemp was made illegal...it
is time for this wrong to be made right...
my dad’s family was 5 generation farmers in my home state
and germany before that...i find great peace and joy in the
organic gardens that MOTHER and i nurture each year...
during the 80’s i use to see a t.v. show on sunday mornings
called...”feed the children”...a minister by the name
of ...larry jones...was the host...he was a high energy level
fellow who was telling it like it was for the farmers...and what
the government’s part was in the decline of the farmers...
larry talked about how our government spent 9.6 million dollars a
day to store excess grain...while little children went hungry all
over the world...except for what larry bought of it to feed the
children (with money raised from doing the show)... most of the
grain just rotted in storage...
controlling the grain prices that way caused many of our family
farmers to not make it...most of them had debts to the government
for loans...in the 70’s farmers were told to buy big
combines...or be left behind as a farmer...their farm land was
used as collateral for government loans...it was a nasty scam...
the feed the children show showed the government coming in and
taking farms from the farmer...the auctions...the pain...one show
was about a farmer who had his farm taken that had been in his
family 5 generations...“he sent his family away”...
larry tells us...while standing in front of a old farm house...
riddled with bullet holes...“the old weathered farmer stayed
inside with his old shotgun...was not going to leave the land
that had been in his family for generations”...so they
killed him...right in the home he was born and raised in...
it has been 10 years since i first heard that the family farms
were being taken away from them at a rate of 500 a week...and 10
years later it is still going on...are there any of you left?...
it was unkind for the government to take your homes...
our ancestors took part in a government that took that same land
from our native american brother...and a government that allowed
slavery...dragging people from their homelands and families and
putting them in inhuman conditions to bring them to a life of
slavery and often great physical pain from beatings...
our government has seldom shown kindness...money has ruled their
ways for a long time now...it is time for kindness to rule our
MOTHER EARTH... it is time to unite with your brother...
imagine the family farmer growing our fuel, our plastics, our
paper, some wood products, clothing, medicine, nutritional non
artery clogging hemp oil...just the suppling of our countries
fuel needs would would put most of america back to work
farming...we can fairly return land back to the american
people...growing our needs keeps you in tune...
these are the simple lessons our FATHER and MOTHER want us to
learn...it is not kind to take someone's home...or to oppress the
people in unkind ways...join the hemp movement...my farmer
brother...for our children and grandchildren... help us save our
MOTHER...
