Prophets who Rose UP EARLY

DEUTERONOMY Chapter Thirty-Two 1-43

Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak;
and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
My instruction shall drop as the rain,
my speech shall distil as the dew,
as rain upon sprouts of grass,
and as showers upon green herb:

I will call out to the Name of IaHUeH:
to give greatness unto our Elohim.

He is the Rock, entire His work:
for all His ways are justice:
a Mighty foundation without any evil,
correct and fair is He.

They are become decadent,
they are no longer His children,
it is their own fault:
a distorted circle of time and place,
they are twisted.

Is this how you repay IaHUeH,
O wicked people and not wise.
Is He not your father that raised you?
He made you, and established you.

Remember the days concealed of old,
distinguish the years and revolution of times and places:
ask your father, and he will show you;
your elders, and they will tell you.

When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance,
when He separated the sons of Adam,
He set the bounds of the people according to the number
of the children of Ieshrael.

For IaHUeH's portion is His people;
Ia'aqob is the measure of His inheritance.

He found him in a desert land,
and in the desolate howling wilderness;
He embraced him, He instructed him,
He protected him as the pupil of His eye.

As an eagle uncovers her nest, broods over her young,
spreads out her wings, takes them, lifts them upon her wing feathers:
So IaHUeH alone did lead him,
and there existed no strange "mighty one" with him.

He placed him upon the high places of the earth,
that he might eat the produce of the fields;
and He made him to suck honey out of the lofty rock,
and oil out of the flinty rock;
Curds from the herd (cows),
and milk from the flock,
with the choice parts of fattened sheep,
and rams of the breed of Bashan,
and prepared,
with the finest of grains of wheat;
and he drank the foaming blood of the grape.

But Ieshurun
("upright one") became gross,
and he trampled down:
you are bloated with excess,
you are become dense,
you are grown fat;
then he cast aside the Almighty One that created him,
and despised the Rock of his salvation

They stirred up His jealousy with strange "mighty ones",
with abominations
(idols) they troubled Him to anger.
They made offerings unto do-evils (daimons),
not to the Almighty;
to "mighty ones" whom they knew not,
to new ones that came near,
whom your fathers dreaded not.

You should have remembered the Rock that begat you,
yet you have forgotten the Almighty One who travailed at your birth.
And when IaHUeH saw it, He despised them,
because of the vexation from His children.

And He said, I will hide My appearance from them,
I will see what their future holds:
for they are a wicked circle of time and place,
children who are not established in truth
(not trustworthy).

They have caused me to be jealous
with that which is not Mighty;
they have troubled Me to grief
with their leading astray to nothingness (vanity):

and I will cause them to be jealous with those which are not a people;
I will trouble them to grief with a fallen away
(lead astray) nation.

For a fire is inflamed in My nostrils,
and shall burn unto the depths of sheol,
and shall eat up the earth with its produce,
and lick the foundations of the mountains.
I will scrape together evil upon them;
I will use up My arrows on them.
They shall be sucked out with hunger,
and feed on a live coal and bitter ruin:
and the teeth of beasts I will send out upon them,
with the poison of things that crawl in the dust.
From outside, the sword shall make childless,
and in your living quarters shall be
on both the young man and the virgin,
the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.
I said, I would blow them away,

I would make the recognition of them to cease from among men:
Were it not that I turned aside
because of the vexation from their enemy,
because their opponents might look intently at it,
and because they might say, Our hand is high,
and IaHUeH hath not done all this.

For they are a nation who wandered away from advise,
and there is no intelligence in them.
If they were wise, they would be circumspect, and see this,
they would distinguish their latter end!

How should one chase a thousand,
and two put ten thousand to flight,
except their Rock had sold them,
and IaHUeH had shut them up?
For their rock is not as our Rock,
and even our adversaries themselves are judges
(magistrates, i.e."masters").
For their vine is of the vine of Sedom,
and of the fields of Amorah:
their grapes are the fruit of the heads of poison plants,
their clusters are bitter:
Their wine is the poison of dragons,
and the cruel venom of asps.

Is not this stored away with Me,
and closed up in My depository?
Revenge and retribution, are Mine;
in time their foot shall
for the day of their oppression is close,
and the things prepared for them come quickly.
For IaHUeH will make a straight course for His people,
and on His servants shall have compassion,
for He sees that their direction (power) is gone away,
and the end of those enclosed.

And He shall say, Where are their "mighty ones",
their rock they hoped in for protection,
Which did eat the fat of their slaughter,
and drank the wine of their drink offerings?
let them rise up and encompass you,
and be your covering.

See now that I, even I, am He,
and there are no other "mighty ones" with Me:
I kill, and I restore to life;
I dash asunder, and I mend:
there does not exist any that can snatch out of My hand.

For I lift up to the heavens My hand, and say,
I live for time out of mind, concealed.

If I sharpen like lightning My sword,
and Mine hand take hold on judgment;
I will give back vengeance to My narrow foes who distress,
and them that hate Me I will recompense.

I will make Mine arrows drunk with blood,
and My sword shall devour flesh;
and that with the blood of the pierced and of the exiles,
from the head of the leaders to the Adversary.

Rejoice, O ye nations, with His people:
for He will avenge the blood of His servants,
and will turn back vengeance
to His
narrow foes who distress,
and will be merciful unto His land,
and to His people.
