Prophets who Rose UP EARLY

DaNIEL Chapter Nine

In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;
In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of IaHUeH came to IeremIahu the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Ierushalem.
And I set my face unto IaHUeH Elohim, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:
And I prayed unto IaHUeH my Elohim, and made my confession, and said, O IaHUeH, the great and dreadful Elohim, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love Him, and to them that keep His Commandments;
We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Thy precepts and from Thy judgments:
Neither have we hearkened unto Thy servants the prophets, which spake in Thy Name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
O IaHUeH, righteousness belongeth unto Thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Iahudah, and to the inhabitants of Ierushalem, and unto all Ieshrael, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither Thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against Thee.
O IaHUeH, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.
To IaHUeH our Elohim belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him;
Neither have we obeyed the voice of IaHUeH our Elohim, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets.
Yea, all Ieshrael have transgressed Thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey Thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Mosheh the servant of Elohim, because we have sinned against Him.
And he hath confirmed His words, which He spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Ierushalem.
As it is written in the law of Mosheh, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before IaHUeH our Elohim, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Thy truth.
Therefore hath IaHUeH watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for IaHUeH our Elohim is righteous in all His works which He doeth: for we obeyed not His voice.
And now, O IaHUeH our Elohim, that hast brought Thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten Thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
O IaHUeH, according to all Thy righteousness, I beseech Thee, let Thine anger and Thy fury be turned away from Thy city Ierushalem, Thy Set Apart mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Ierushalem and Thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.
Now therefore, O our Elohim, hear the prayer of Thy servant, and his supplications, and cause Thy face to shine upon Thy Set Apart place that is desolate, for IaHUeH's sake.
O my Elohim, incline Thine ear, and hear; open Thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Thy Name: for we do not present our supplications before Thee for our righteousnesses, but for Thy great mercies.
O IaHUeH, hear; O IaHUeH, forgive; O IaHUeH, hearken and do; defer not, for Thine own sake, O my Elohim: for Thy city and Thy people are called by Thy Name.
And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Ieshrael, and presenting my supplication before IaHUeH my Elohim for the Seprate mountain of my Elohim;
Yea, while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
At the beginning of thy supplications the Commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy Set Apart city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Set- apart place.
Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the Commandment to restore and to build Ierushalem unto MaShIaCh the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
And after threescore and two weeks shall MaShIaCh be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the Set Apart place; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the offering and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Chapter Ten
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;
Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.
And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.
Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy Elohim, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.
And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my master, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
For how can the servant of this my master talk with this my master? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: shalom be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my master speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
Chapter Eleven
Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.
And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:
And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.
But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.
And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.
And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.
For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.
And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.
So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.
But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the land of spendor, which by his hand shall be consumed.
He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.
Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the excellenceof the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in shalom, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.
And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.
He shall enter in shalom even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.
Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.
Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the set-apart covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.
At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.
For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the set-apart covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the set-apart covenant.
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the Set Apart place of strength, and shall take away the daily offering, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.
And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their Elohim shall be strong, and do exploits.
And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.
And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every "mighty one", and shall speak marvellous things against the Mighty Elohim, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Neither shall he regard the Elohim of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any "mighty one": for he shall magnify himself above all.
But fortification in his estate shall he exalt: and a "mighty one" (God) whom his fathers knew not shall he make fat with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
Thus shall he do in the strong fortification with a strange "mighty one", whom he shall acknowledge and increase with exaltation: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.
He shall enter also into the land of Splendor, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.
But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.
But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the splendid Set-apart mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Chapter Twelve
And at that time shall MiKaEL stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
And they that understand (be circumspect) shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by Him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the people set-apart, all these things shall be finished.
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Master, what shall be the end of these things?
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
And from the time that the daily offering shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

HOSheA Chapter Thirteen
When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Ieshrael; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, and "mighty ones" according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.
Yet I am IaHUeH thy Elohim from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no "mighty one" but Me: for there is no Saviour beside Me.
I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.
According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten Me.
Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them:
I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
O Ieshrael, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in Me is thine help.
I will be Thy King: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?
I gave thee a king in Mine anger, and took him away in My wrath.
The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid.
The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.
I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of IaHUeH shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
Shomeron shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her Elohim: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Chapter 14
O Ieshrael, return unto IaHUeH thy Elohim; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
Take with you words, and turn to IaHUeH: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us favourably: so will we render the calves of our lips.
Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our "mighty ones": for in Thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for Mine anger is turned away from him.
I will be as the dew unto Ieshrael: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From Me is thy fruit found.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? discering, and he shall know them? for the ways of IaHUeH are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.

ZeKaRIaH Chapter Ten
Ask ye of IaHUeH rain in the time of the latter rain; so IaHUeH shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for IaHUeH of hosts hath visited His flock the house of Iahudah, and hath made them as His splendid horse in the battle.
Out of Him came forth the corner, out of Him the nail, out of Him the battle bow, out of Him every oppressor together.
And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because IaHUeH is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
And I will strengthen the house of Iahudah, and I will save the house of Ioseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am IaHUeH their Elohim, and will hear them.
And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in IaHUeH.
I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
And I will strengthen them in IaHUeH; and they shall walk up and down in His Name, saith IaHUeH.

MaLAKI Chapter One
The burden of the word of IaHUeH to Ieshrael by Malaki.
I have loved you, saith IaHUeH. Yet ye say, Wherein hast Thou loved us? Was not Esau Ia'aqob's brother? saith IaHUeH: yet I loved Ia'aqob,
And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith IaHUeH of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom IaHUeH hath indignation for ever.
And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, IaHUeH will be magnified from the border of Ieshrael.
A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a Father, where is Mine honour? and if I be a Master, where is My reverence? saith IaHUeH of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise My Name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised Thy Name?
Ye offer polluted bread upon Mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of IaHUeH is contemptible.
And if ye offer the blind for offerings, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith IaHUeH of hosts.
And now, I pray you, beseech El that He will be favourable unto us: this hath been by your means: will He regard your persons? saith IaHUeH of hosts.
Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on Mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith IaHUeH of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same My Name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto My Name, and a pure offering: for My Name shall be great among the heathen, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
But ye have profaned it, in that ye say, The table of IaHUeH is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his meat, is contemptible.
Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith IaHUeH of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith IaHUeH.
But cursed be the deceiver, which hath in his flock a male, and voweth, and offers up unto IaHUeH a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, saith IaHUeH of hosts, and My Name is dreadful among the heathen.

Chapter Two
And now, O ye priests, this Commandment is for you.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give exaltation unto My Name, saith IaHUeH of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
And ye shall know that I have sent this Commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with LeUI, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
My covenant was with him of life and shalom; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before My Name.
The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in shalom and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of IaHUeH of hosts.
But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of LeUI, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as ye have not kept My ways, but have been partial in the law.
Have we not all one Father? hath not one Elohim created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
Iahudah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Ieshrael and in Ierushalem; for Iahudah hath profaned the Separation of IaHUeH which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange "mighty one".
IaHUeH will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Ia'aqob, and him that offereth an offering unto IaHUeH of hosts.
And this have ye done again, covering the altar of IaHUeH with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that He regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because IaHUeH hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.
And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
For IaHUeH, the Elohim of Ieshrael, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith IaHUeH of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
Ye have wearied IaHUeH with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied Him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of IaHUeH, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the Elohim of judgment?

Chapter Three
Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and IaHUeH, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
But who may abide the day of His coming? and who shall stand when He appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of LeUI, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto IaHUeH an offering in righteousness.
Then shall the offering of Iahudah and Ierushalem be pleasant unto IaHUeH, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not Me, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
For I am IaHUeH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Ia'aqob are not consumed.
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from Mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, saith IaHUeH of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
Will a man rob Elohim? Yet ye have robbed Me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed Thee? In tithes and offerings.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed Me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in Mine house, and prove Me now herewith, saith IaHUeH of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
Your words have been stout against Me, saith IaHUeH. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against Thee?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve Elohim: and what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before IaHUeH of hosts?
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt Elohim are even delivered.
Then they that feared IaHUeH spake often one to another: and IaHUeH hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared IaHUeH, and that thought upon His Name.
And they shall be Mine, saith IaHUeH of hosts, in that day when I gather up My peculiar treasure; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth Elohim and him that serveth him not.

Chapter Four
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith IaHUeH of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear My Name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith IaHUeH of hosts.
Remember ye the law of Mosheh My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Ieshrael, with the statutes and judgments.
Behold, I will send you ELI-IaHU the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of IaHUeH:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
