(1) Some Christians may think I was too harsh. Perhaps I was.
"It isn't easy to feel one's birthright as a free citizen
of this country in the Communist capital of North America - in
Berkeley. Ah, yes. In Berkeley where there is only one absolute,
the absolute certainty that Communist agitators will get all the
protection and comfort they require. All other facets of social
interaction are subject to the intense scrutiny and interpretation
of the intellectual egotists. For instance, truth is non-existent.
It is purely relative, and most of the time it is irrelevant.
In my opinion, the distortion of truths has become a way of life
for the sophisticated, liberal universityites. These particular
people have made such a practice of questioning anything and everything
for so many years that they could not recognize truth if it tickled
them under their noses. Socrates wouldn't have had a ghost of
a chance with these cerebro-cortico-maniacs. But back to my encounter
with 'Mao Tse tung, Jr.'
"I had displeased him acutely... [because I had enforced the rules
regarding bulletin board postings]. "One would have thought
by the reaction of the hard-core activists that I had single-handedly
repealed the Constitution.
"They cried 'censorship' to the high heavens. They bemoaned
their loss of free speech. They accused me of sending their revolutionary
material to the C.I.A. and of returning to the McCarthy era.
"If there is one thing that you may depend upon to be consistent
in the methodology of the Marxist agitators it is this: They will
cloud the real issues of a dispute and distort their opposition's
statements and motives. In short, they are very adept at smearing
individuals and organizations which oppose them. Talk about the
so-called character assassinations of Joe McCarthy; well, he couldn't
hold a candle to these propagandists. They could make Hansel and
Gretel out to be wicked witch hunters! Come to think of it, I
haven't read that folktale for some time; perhaps I should check
it to see if there have been some changes. You know, Hansel and
Gretel could be expansionist imperialists who invaded the modest
territory of this sweet little old lady, burned her with napalm
and ate up her property...
"Student revolutionists care not whom they destroy. They
are sweet as honey until you cross them. Then they are ruthless
as a steamroller. They make the loudest cries about their Constitutional
rights while all the while plotting how to deprive others of the
same. They bask in the 'sun' of this country's freedoms, using
them as their shields and armor to wage war against us."
But think for a moment: Why would the Trotskyites, the Spartacus
Youth Club, and the Socialists give a rap about the "Holocaust?
Why shouid the communists attack an "anti-Semite"?
Haven't we been told for years that the Jews in the Soviet Union
were persecuted by the communists? Why would communists who hate
Jews defend them so vigorously in America?
Folks, don't believe everything you see on TV and in the managed
press. The truth is that communism/socialism are products of
Jewish minds, and the fracas at Berkeley is excellent evidence
to that effect. How do I know that the violence of the Trotskyites,
Spartacus Youth Club and Socialists was communist instigated?
On the Opinion page of the Daily Californian of Oct. 25,
1994 one Skye White [real name?] stated: "We communists of
the Spartacus Youth Club do not look to the government, administration
or the cops to 'ban the fascists.'" This, of course, is
an admission that they take the "law" into their own
hands and bash skulls. This writer believes that if you scratch
a communist leader you will often uncover a Jew. This is why
David Irving is so hated by them.
Incidentally, true to form as indicated in my article back in
1969, Mr. Skye White fabricated part of the recent Berkeley episode
by claiming that there were "swastika-waving Nazis"
at Irving's meeting. Eyewitnesses categorically deny this. Further,
the Daily Cal says that White is an alumnus of U.C. Berkeley,
who refers to the 1960's "Free Speech" movement as if
he were there at the time. This would make the two of us contemporaries
and since he characterizes the agitators of that era as the good
guys and gals, he is once more spinning leftist propaganda. I
know I was there.
It. is interesting to note that Skye White's Opinion Page harangue
divulges information about organizations in Europe, Canada and
the U.S. that only a close follower or member of the Anti-Defamation
League (ADL) of B'nai B'rith would ordinarily know. This, of
course, is a dead giveaway of his real identity and motives.
Scratch a communist leader and find a Jew? The chances are better
than average!

The Times article contained the usual propaganda. "Over
the last few years, Zhirinovsky has aired some openly racist and
extremist views of the United States. He has written that some
time in the next century, America's white population will perish,
swamped by blacks and Latinos, and that the United States will
go the way of the Soviet Union..."
Whether or not he actually said this SMYRNA does not know.
But the Times writer, Jim Mann, referred to him as an
ultranationalist", "extremist", "racist",
and the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles, which urged Secretary
of State Warren Christopher to refuse Zhirinovsky a visa, noted
that in July Zhirinovsky had met with "Canada's leading neo-Nazi,
Ernst Zundel." The National Conference on Soviet Jewry also
opposed Zhirinovsky's visit.
If we carefully note the sources of the opposition brought against
Vladimir Zhirinovsky, both in Russia and the U.S., we will begin
to discern whether or not he is the villain he is cast as, or
perhaps he is telling a great deal of truth. SMYRNA advises
others not to be hasty in calling Zhirinovsky another Hitler.
There are no saints in this political war, and he may not be
our cup of tea, but his enemies are apparently our enemies. Or
perhaps he is a plant by our enemies.
Those who do not understand the anti-Christ conspiracy will
never discern who their real enemies are.(3) What a pity!

Some newspapers did not mention her name; they only referred
to her as a "feminist theologian."(5) What kind of
theologian is a "feminist theologian"? We presume that
it is one who purports to study God with the preconceived notion
that God gave women a raw deal. Actually, the feminist movement
per se is one of the many tentacles of the conspiracy octopus.

But the revealing clue that identifies the Jesus Seminar as an
instrument in the hands of Talmudic propagandists is the claim
that Jesus was an illegitimate child. That dastardly lie comes
from the Jewish Talmud, and either Prof Jane Schaberg is Jewish
or she is serving Jewish leaders slavishly. So she isn't a free
woman after all. Here is the documentation for the lie:
The above is quoted from The Talmud Unmasked by I.B. Pranaitis,
St. Petersburg, Russia, 1892. Pranaitis quoted at length from
the renowned Johannes Buxtorf (1564-1629), Hebrew and Rabbinic
scholar who had demonstrated that the above passage as well as
others from the Talmud referred to Jesus and His mother
Mary, even though the time frame of the passage above might be
out of sequence. Buxtorf, according to Pranaitis, wrote: "'Other
circumstances may seem to contradict this. But that is nothing
new in Jewish writings and is done on purpose so that Christians
may not easily detect their trickery.'"
It is clear that the Jesus Seminar in Sonoma, California is guided
by the ancient Jewish defamation of Jesus Christ. The public,
of course, being oblivious to the conspiracy, will gobble up the
disinformation dispersed by the mass media which report the "findings"
of these "scholars". Truly, there's nothing new under
the sun. The most dangerous and effective foe of true Christianity
today is Talmudism and fellow travellers, the very same foes that
condemned Jesus and caused His crucifixion nearly two thousand
years ago.
There is some bad news, too. Teddy "Bare" Kennedy,
coming from behind, retained his seat in the Senate. We wonder
how that happened. Is his political machine in Massachusetts
so old and so powerful that it can't be beat? Was the ballot
counting rigged? Or are the people of Massachusetts so immoral
or stupid that they produce such results repeatedly?
The absentee ballots in California are not yet counted so we
do not know officially whether Diane Feinstein or Michael Huffington
won. A Republican official has reportedly legally halted the
process for an as yet unknown reason.
One of the worst bits of news for moral people is what Arne Carlson,
Democratic candidate for governor in Minnesota, maliciously did
to his opponent, Allen Quist, who is a Christian. Quist took
a stand against abortion and homosexuality, so the spin doctors
of Carlson's campaign created a media image of him and his supporters
as Nazis. Apparently, the voters couldn't see beyond the scam
and Carlson won. In an interview with a Jewish magazine, Carl
son called Quist "'a cult leader with a Messianic complex.'"
So you see, dear readers, how far advanced the Talmudic/Zionist
war against Christianity is.(6)

The IRS did not file a proof of claim and Hudson filed an unsecured
priority proof of claim on behalf of the IRS for full payment.
The court confirmed the bankruptcy in August then notified the
IRS, which took no action.
In April 1993 Hudson and wife filed their 1992 tax returns, showing
a refund of $1,245, but the IRS intercepted it and applied it
to their previous tax liability. Hudson sued the IRS for violating
the automatic stay which is binding on all creditors. However,
the IRS claimed sovereign immunity and said the bankruptcy court
had no jurisdiction over it.
If the IRS had requested relief from the automatic stay it could
have legally applied the refund to the liability, but it didn't.
It wrongfully withheld the refund while the bankruptcy case was
pending.
The court ruled in Hudson's favor, awarding him the full tax
refund plus $300 legal costs.(8)

SMYRNA reports this case because it is illustrative of
government tyranny. Any time that any government can confiscate
our property (and money is property) without due process of law,
that's a dictatorship. And it is especially galling that the
power of the IRS is exerted on behalf of the Fed, a private corporation
that controls our money system unconstitutionally, making trillions
of dollars in the process.
According to a story in The Jewish Week (10/13/94) an
"honor bestowed on fewer than 100 individuals in the course
of the nation's history" was posthumously awarded Rabbi Schneerson
by unanimous consent of Congress and the President. It is the
Congressional Gold Medal. The legislation was introduced by Sen.
Alfonse D'Amato (R-NY), Charles Schumer (D-NY), John Lewis (D-GA),
Newt Gingrich (R-GA), and Jerry Lewis (R-CA).
The medal was first awarded to George Washington and most recently
to Colin Powell and Norman Schwarzkopt.
Updating Reminiscences
The prejudices that lead to inconsistencies in the operational
tactics of liberals, leftists, socialists and communists are astounding.
Regardless of their extremes, they justify their behavior with
whatever casuistic inventions are convenient. Let's take the
case of the notorious operations of the leftists on the campus
of the University of California at Berkeley. After excerpting
an article of mine that appeared in my weekly column of the Contra
Costa Times back in 1969, I will update it with recent events.
Here it is:

"For a minute I thought I was in Red China. The young Communist
who stood before me was arrogant, belligerent and demanding -
perhaps he would have shot me. His mannerisms projected the impression
that he expected me to wither under his gaze and slink away like
a cowed dog. It occurred to me, however, that I did not need
to respond the way he wanted me to. I remembered - with difficulty
I confess that I was still in the good 'ol U.S.A. and I didn't
have to take orders from a Commie punk.(1)

UPDATING THE SCENARIO
Now return in time to the present and the scenario that unfolded
in Berkeley on Oct. 13, 1994 when British historian David Irving
spoke at the YWCA. The Trotskyites, Spartacus Youth Club and
Socialists invaded the meeting, assaulted Irving and several of
the audience, and destroyed hundreds of dollars' worth of his
literature. What provoked those hoodlums? Irving was telling
the truth about the "Holocaust" and they didn't want
his version of history revealed.

More on Zhirinovsky
According to the L.A. Times of Nov. 2, 1994, Vladimir
Zhirinovsky(2) was granted a visa to visit the U.S. for 14 days,
beginning Nov. 4. Although certain organizations wanted him barred,
the government could find no legal reason to do so, and officials
calculated that if he were denied a visa it would strengthen his
political image in Russia; he would be perceived as a martyr,
so the visa was granted.

Nothing New
In a story by Susanne Boynton published by the Santa Rosa
Press-Democrat of Oct. 14, 1994, 25 of 26 members of the infamous
Jesus Seminar(4) group voted their conclusion that Jesus was not
born of a virgin. One of these, Prof Jane Schaberg of the University
of Detroit Mercy, a Jesuit school, had made a presentation to
this effect after which the vote was taken. She said that the
notion of a virgin birth represented another example of subjugation
of women, and that Christ was in fact an illegitimate child.
"Once when the elders were seated at the Gate, two young
men passed by, one of whom had his head covered, the other with
his head bare. Rabbi Eliezer remarked that the one in his bare
head was illegitimate, a mamzer. Rabbi Jehoschua said that he
was conceived during menstruation, ben niddah. Rabbi Akibah,
however, said that he was both. Whereupon the others asked Rabbi
Akibah why he dared to contradict his colleagues. He answered
that he could prove what he said. He went therefore to the boy's
mother whom he saw sitting in the market place selling vegetables
and said to her: 'My daughter, if you will answer truthfully what
I am going to ask you, I promise that you will be saved in the
next life.' She demanded that he would swear to keep his promise,
and Rabbi Akibah did so - but with his lips only, for in his heart
he invalidated his oath. Then he said: 'Tell me, what kind of
son is this of yours'? To which she replied: 'The day I was married
I was having menstruation, and because of this my husband left
me. But an evil spirit came and slept with me and from this intercourse
my son was born to me.' Thus it was proved that this young man
was not only illegitimate but also conceived during the menstruation
of his mother. And when his questioners heard this they declared:
'Great indeed was Rabbi Akibah when he corrected his Elders'!
And they exclaimed: 'Blessed be the Lord God of Israel who revealed
his secret to Rabbi Akibah the son of Joseph.'" (Tract Kallah,

Victories & Defeats
Conservatives are ecstatic about the Republican victories over
the Democrats recently. We, too, are happy because the mood of
the voters was commendable. The apparent meaning of the voter
choices is that the majority are unhappy with the very liberal
policies of the Democrats. The obvious immoral and possibly criminal
ties that Bill and Hillary Clinton have in Arkansas, and the way
the Democrats in Congress were covering them up, probably affected
the election also. This is good news.

The Fed's Mafia:
Under the heading of IRS Violates Bankruptcy Protection, The
Bill Benson newsletter(7) tells of the case of J.L. Hudson
who filed for bankruptcy in March 1993 and listed the IRS as a
creditor. The cause of his bankruptcy was partly due to an IRS
levy against his wages.

They Did It Again!
Congress did it again! Those who read SMYRNA know that
we broke the story nationwide about the promotion of the Noahide
laws by Congress and the President back in 1991. Congress at
the same time honored Rebbe Menachem Schneerson, patriarch of
an ultra-orthodox Jewish group.
